# Decimal to Percent. Percent to Decimal

- To convert a decimal to a percentage, it must be multiplied by 100.
- To convert a percentage to a decimal, it must be divided by 100.

## Examples of convert decimal to percent

Convert decimal to percent a) 4; b) 1; c) 0.4; d) 0.04; e) 0.004.**Solution:**

a) 4 = 4 · 100% = 400%;

b) 1 = 1 · 100% = 100%;

c) 0.4 = 0.4 · 100% = 40%;

d) 0.04 = 0.04 · 100% = 4%;

e) 0.004 = 0.004 · 100% = 0.4%.
